EFEKTIVITAS BIMBINGAN KLASIKAL DALAM MEMBERIKAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG DAMPAK PERNIKAHAN DINI DI SMK N 2 LUBUKLINGGAU

Abstract

Early marriage is a serious threat to the future of young generation due to lack of knowledge. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of classical guidance in providing knowledge about the impact of early marriage on 11th grade hospitality students at SMK Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. This research uses a quantitative approach with pre-experimental method through One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects were 32 students selected using purposive sampling. Data collection used a Likert scale 1-4. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and Paired Sample t-test with SPSS version 16. The results showed that the mean pretest score was 54.81, while the mean posttest score was 78.53, an increase of 23.72 points. The Shapiro-Wilk test showed a significance value of 0.894 (>0.05), indicating normally distributed data. The Paired Sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), so Hₐ is accepted and H₀ is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that classical guidance is effective in providing knowledge about the impact of early marriage on 11th grade hospitality students at SMK Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau.
