IHSAN SEBAGAI MANIFESTASI CINTA: KAJIAN MORALITAS SOSIAL DALAM ISLAM DI ERA DIGITAL

Abstract

The concept of ihsan is a fundamental value in Islamic teachings related to the perfection of human faith and morality. Ihsan is not only interpreted as a form of devotion to God, but also as a manifestation of love (mahabbah) reflected in human social behavior. This article aims to examine the concept of ihsan from the perspective of love and its relevance to social morality in the digital age. This research uses library research with a descriptive-analytical approach through a review of Islamic literature and scientific journals. The results show that the concept of ihsan requires humans to do good to God and others with full spiritual awareness. Love for God (mahabbah) forms the basis for the emergence of ihsan attitudes, which then give rise to moral behavior in social life. In the context of the digital age, the value of ihsan can serve as a foundation for ethics in social media, such as honesty, responsibility, and respect for others. Thus, the concept of ihsan as a manifestation of love plays a crucial role in building social morality based on Islamic values.
