PENGARUH MODEL TIME TOKEN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

This research aims to determine the effect of the Time Token model on students' speaking skills, especially in Indonesian language lessons in class V elementary school. This type of research uses quantitative research methods with observation, questionnaire and documentation data collection techniques. Data analysis used a quasi-experiment with a ¬pretest-posttest design. The research instrument was a speaking skills test given before and after treatment. The results of the research showed that there was a difference between the control class with a score of 76 and the experimental class with a score of 82. The average score of the post-test results increased after being given treatment, with the average score for the control class being 68.5% in the poor category, while the average score for the experimental class was 78% in the quite good category. This is shown by the results of the t-test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The group was treated with the Time Token Model using the One Group pretest posttest Design method. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Time Token model has an effect on students' speaking skills.
