Scientific abilities in children aged 5-6 years are an important aspect of children's scientific development, which includes the ability to observe, clarify, predict, and conduct simple experiments. This research is a quantitative field study that uses a survey method with descriptive analysis techniques. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, and documentation, with research subjects of 35 students and their guardians. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the product moment. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the rainbow rain experiment method has a significant effect on improving children's science skills. Based on the correlation test results, an rxy value of 0.90 was obtained, indicating a very strong relationship between the rainbow rain experiment method and children's science abilities. Furthermore, the results of the hypothesis test showed a calculated Tvalue of 11.84 > Ttable of 1.69236, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means there is a significant influence of using the rainbow rain experiment method on the science abilities of 5-6 year old children.
