Student discipline is one of the indicators of successful educational
implementation that requires systematic management through student affairs
management. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and
evaluation of student affairs management in fostering student discipline at MA Ulul
Albab Lubuklinggau City. This research employed a qualitative approach with a
descriptive research design. Data were collected through observations, interviews
with the principal, vice principal for student affairs, teachers, and students, as well
as documentation studies of school regulations, violation records, and student
development programs. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data
presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that discipline
development was implemented through the formulation of school regulations,
religious habituation programs, attendance monitoring, a violation point system,
and collaboration with parents. The implementation of these programs was
supported by the involvement of all school members and character building based
on Islamic values. Evaluation was carried out periodically through student affairs
meetings and student behavior monitoring. The discipline development programs
contributed to a decrease in the number of disciplinary violations and an increase
in students’ compliance with school regulations. Well-planned and sustainable
student affairs management plays a significant role in establishing a culture of
discipline within the madrasah environment.
