Abstract

Bullying in schools is a serious issue that negatively impacts students' psychological and academic well-being. This study aims to explore the role of Islamic educational counseling in addressing bullying in schools through an approach based on Islamic values. Islamic educational counseling offers a method emphasizing moral ethics, compassion, justice, and respect among students. This qualitative study adopts a case study approach involving three schools in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with counselors, teachers, students, and parents, along with direct observations within the school environment. The findings reveal that Islamic educational counseling significantly reduces bullying cases through a values-based approach, social skills training, and parent involvement in the counseling process. Counseling programs integrated with character education based on Islamic values have proven effective in creating a safer and more harmonious school environment, as well as increasing students' awareness of the importance of mutual respect. In conclusion, Islamic educational counseling plays a crucial role in preventing and addressing bullying in schools.

Bullying di sekolah merupakan masalah serius yang berdampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis dan akademis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran konseling pendidikan Islam dalam mengatasi bullying di sekolah melalui pendekatan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Konseling pendidikan Islam menawarkan pendekatan yang menekankan pada etika moral, kasih sayang, keadilan, dan penghormatan antar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang melibatkan tiga sekolah di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan konselor, guru, siswa, dan orang tua, serta observasi langsung di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling pendidikan Islam dapat mengurangi kasus bullying secara signifikan melalui pendekatan berbasis nilai, pelatihan keterampilan sosial, dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses konseling. Program konseling yang terintegrasi dengan pendidikan karakter berbasis Islam terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih aman dan harmonis, serta meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya saling menghormati. Kesimpulannya, konseling pendidikan Islam memiliki peran penting dalam mencegah dan mengatasi bullying di sekolah.
